UD Grant Proposal Writing

 WORKSHOP

JUNE 7, 2023

CLAYTON HALL

8:30 am – 4:30 pm

Registration deadline is May 12, 2023.

UD Research Office is hosting the biennial Grant Writing Workshop, back in-person at Clayton Hall on June 7th. The day-long workshop will be delivered by Grant Writers’ Seminars & Workshops, and the primary workshop presenter will be John D. Robertson, Ph.D. This workshop comprehensively addresses both practical and conceptual aspects important to the proposal-writing process. Emphasis is given to idea development, identification of the most appropriate granting agency, how to write for reviewers, and tips and strategies that are of proven value in presenting an applicant’s case to reviewers. Regardless of the agency, participants will learn to write with a linear progression of logic, which leads reviewers through their applications. Strategies designed to merit a fundable review score are emphasized.

Faculty interested in attending the workshop should fill out the registration below. Final approvals will be made by your primary unit’s Research/Deputy Dean, and you will be notified in late May if your registration has been approved.

The Graduate College is sponsoring a limited number of seats for graduate students and postdocs.  If you are interested and able to attend the in-person workshop, please indicate your interest using this graduate student and postdoc-specific form
