As part of this program development, on Friday October 20, 2017, UD will be hosting a series of talks and a panel featuring senior leaders from government, federal agencies, and national laboratories. Talks will focus on the importance of innovation in the science and engineering of materials, with overviews of new innovation opportunities at ANL and in the Delaware region.

The program will be held from 9:00am-12:00pm on October 20 at the Embassy Suites in Newark, Delaware. At 1:30pm, there will be an opportunity for tours of laboratories at the UD STAR campus and UD Harker ISE Laboratory as space allows. Participation in either or both parts of the program is welcome, although participants will be responsible for their own lunch arrangements.

Registration is free and required no later than October 12, 2017, so that there is an accurate count of participants interested in the morning session and in the afternoon tours. Space is limited for the afternoon tours, and thus participation cannot be guaranteed; participants will be signed up for the tours in the order in which their registrations are received.
