The UD Research Office is pleased to announce that Dr. Amy Wernimont from NIH will visit UD on February 14. Dr. Wernimont joined the Center for Scientific Review at NIH in 2016, where she is currently serving as a scientific review officer (SRO). Her talk will give an overview of the NIH review process, an insight into study section and helpful hints that increase the chances of a positive review. Amy Wernimont joined the Center for Scientific Review at NIH in 2016 and is currently serving as a scientific review officer (SRO), responsible for the Interdisciplinary Molecular Sciences and Training IRG (IMST) Special Emphasis Panel for Small Business Grant reviews concerning Cell and Molecular Biology and various technology related Special Emphasis Panel meetings. She is also actively involved in outreach endeavors, improving the peer review process by educating and informing potential applicants and reviewers, and ensuring the fair, independent, expert and timely review of applications.
