GETTING HERE
University of Delaware Research Office
Hullihen Hall is the central administration building at the University of Delaware housing the Research Office. Constructed in 1940, it was known as “University Hall” during its early years of service and re-named in 1952 in memory of Walter Hullihen, University president from 1920–44, the longest presidency in UD history.
Driving Directions
UD’s campus is located in Newark, near the northern arc of Delaware’s boundary, and is convenient to many East Coast cities.
Bus Service
Bus services include UD’s Bus Shuttle, the Newark Unicity Bus System, DART (Delaware Transit Corporation) and Greyhound.
Train Service
Amtrak and SEPTA (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority) serve a 2,200-square-mile region with fixed-route buses, subway/elevated trains, trackless trolley, light rail and commuter rail.
Airports
Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) are the closest major airports to the UD campus.

HOURS OF OPERATION
The University of Delaware Research Office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Research Office is closed Saturday and Sunday and observes all University closings and holidays. See the Academic Calendar for more information.
