| Limited Face-to-Face Human Subject Interaction |
This research includes face-to-face human subject interaction. The Motor Neuroscience and Neuroimaging Lab is approved to conduct in person research during Phase 3. Currently, four of our lab members are permitted to access our the for research activities: Roxana Burciu (PI), Jae Woo Chung (postdoc), Taylor Gauss (PhD student) and Abigail Bower (research coordinator). In case of our lab, density limits were set to 2 people per room (exception: research studies with patients with Parkinson’s disease when 2 researchers are need to complete the testing protocol). Because all four members approved for Phase 3 have received both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine due to the clinical nature of our research, we would like to request permission to expand density limits to 3 people per lab. Our lab is 302 sq ft. |
| Physical Distancing and Density Requirements |
We will maintain the same strict PPE protocol that includes physical distancing and double masking + face shield when participants are coming in, and physical distancing + single surgical mask on days when we are not conducting research studies. We will continue to use our lab calendar to monitor who is using the lab to make sure density limits are met. We will continue to use hospital-grade disinfectant to clean the lab after each use. |
