| Physical Distancing and Density Requirements | Room 235 in the Tower at STAR is a research laboratory that I share with Dr. Roxana Burciu, her students and staff. Her team is already approved for use of this space. I seek approval for occasional access to the lab for myself and my team of two graduate students. My team is not presently collecting data from human subjects but my students need to access laboratory equipment to develop their research protocols, obtain data files, and to collect test data from themselves for use in a graduate course.
This lab is 302 square feet in size and our two research teams will coordinate lab activities such that While minimizing the frequency of lab use, I also wish to provide safe opportunities for my students to diminish their feelings of isolation and being disconnected from graduate training activities and the research environment. |
