Limited Face-to-Face Human Subject Interaction This research includes face-to-face human subject interaction. My lab needs to conduct neuroimaging and behavioral studies at Barksdale and at the CBBI in support of grant funding and time-sensitive research, including student dissertation and master thesis projects. The lab will follow standard safety protocols established by UD and the CBBI, including PPE, wellness screening, distancing, disinfecting the equipment after use. In addition, for EEG data collection we will user higher levels of PPE, including surgical masks and eye coverings/face shield, because the researcher will be closer than 6 feet for more than 15 min
Physical Distancing and Density Requirements For behavioral research done at Barksdale, participants will be run 1 at a time so we will be able to maintain the density requirements in the lab spaces. For fMRI research at the CBBI, we will be able to maintain the physical distancing and density requirements. For EEG work either at Barksdale or at the CBBI, we will use standardized COVID protocols https://protocolexchange.researchsquare.com/article/pex-974/v1. In addition, for EEG data collection, we will user higher levels of PPE, including surgical masks and eye coverings/face shield, because the researcher will be closer than 6 feet for more than 15 min.
