Physical Distancing and Density Requirements	The REU Program will include students from other institutions coming to work over the summer from June14 – July 30th. Looking for space to facilitate “25” students in order to maintain the covid guidelines preferably a room in GORE!!! ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Dr Nowak sent a question to Dr. Coleman: Alan – please confirm that you are 1. seeking blanket approval to run the REU program on campus and in-person and 2. that you are requesting access to a large ‘classroom’ (either in Sharp or Gore for holding larger meetings for the whole REU team participants. For #1 the actual ug student participants that would be on-campus is still to be determined, but will include approximately 10-15 students from other institutions, correct? For #2, my understanding is that ‘office’ type space will be needed in addition to a large classroom, and that we will try to accommodate these students in Sharp lab using a variety of DPA controlled spaces. Dr Coleman’s response: Both of the things you said are correct. Indeed, we would need classrooms in Sharp Lab as well. I think we are still waiting on Carlyn to book these for us.
