The material transfer agreement (MTA) form is used to manage and record the transportation of research material, such as biological or chemical material, from one party to another. In the agreement, in addition to establishing the faculty’s role as receiver or provider, the MTA also establishes the extent of the provider’s ownership and the receiver’s usage.
